There are currently 8 known tribes. The appearance of each one of these inspired an ancient civilisation. A tribe consists of 10 Abatons. All Abatons belonging to the same tribe have a similar appearance.

Each tribe has a totemic (symbolic) magical power, which protects them during their time on planet Earth. The powers are:
